Job summary

SCN BestCo in Mooresville, NC, is seeking a Night Shift Packaging Operator on rotating 8- or 12-hour schedules to support our VMS/OTC production lines. You will monitor the schedule, operate and pack machines, ensure correct weights, and maintain quality per batch records.

The role requires basic computer skills, ability to lift up to 60 lbs, and willingness to work any shift. Prior packaging experience or CPT certification is valued; fluent English and adherence to LOTO and cGMP policies are

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of machine operator experience outside SCN Bestco or 3 months at SCN Bestco or CPT certification.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Basic computer skills and ability to complete required training.
• Fluent English with clear written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to work any shift as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain understanding of production schedule for the shift and its impact.
• Operate, pack and ensure quality of the machine and finished product.
• Set up machines and adjust settings for correct piece counts.
• Manage changeovers to keep lines running smoothly.
• Coordinate with Packers to troubleshoot and keep machines running.
• Clean and maintain machines and ensure proper operation.
• Follow batch records; ensure weights, bags, and lot coding are correct.
• Follow LOTO policy during cleaning and maintenance activities.
• Conduct 15-minute inspections and record details.
