Job summary

Vericast is hiring for a 2nd shift production operator at our High Point, NC facility. You will operate production equipment, monitor quality, perform start-up and shut-down, and troubleshoot as needed in a TEMPERATURE CONTROLLED, BRIGHT, CLEAN environment.

Hourly pay rate starts at $17.50 per hour with DOE and a $1.75 shift differential, plus a comprehensive benefits package after 30 days. Hours are Monday–Friday, 3:00 pm–11:30 pm, with opportunities for advancement and training.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of machine operating or production experience in a team setting preferred.
• Average to above-average mechanical ability is helpful.
• Ability to work on the 2nd shift in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate various production equipment, monitor performance and quality.
• Start-up, shut-down and preventive maintenance of equipment.
• Sample and monitor product quality, make adjustments as needed.
• Troubleshoot packaging system issues and stabilize performance.
• Replenish materials as they deplete.
• Support the manufacture of personal products on a continuous production line.
• Perform routine tasks and some short-term projects as assigned.
