Job summary

Candidates should read job specs to determine materials, apply appropriate press settings, and conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs. Night shift 6:45pm–7:00am; pay range $21.00–$29.41 per hour.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of offset printing procedures, materials, equipment, and safety requirements.
• Ability to read job specifications to determine press setup materials.
• Understanding press capabilities to determine appropriate use and adjustments.
• Knowledge of packing pressure for printing.
• Ability to mount and align printing plates using a micrometer.
• Routine operational maintenance and minor repairs to equipment.
• Ability to adjust feeder and feed board settings (suction, blast, guides, timing).

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, operate, and maintain single or multi-color offset press.
• Perform make-ready tasks and check image positioning during setup.
• Make color corrections and press adjustments prior to production to meet quality specs.
• Perform periodic maintenance as recommended by the manufacturer.
