Job summary

LB Foster is seeking a Production Worker I for our precast construction division. You will join a production team to manufacture precast products and buildings, following standard work methods and safety practices. This position is a straight night shift.

Responsibilities include operating basic machine tools, inspecting equipment, and meeting on-time shipment deadlines while maintaining a clean, safe work area. High school diploma preferred and 1 year of production experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 1 year in a production environment preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safe work practices and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Carry out instructions from the Foreman.
• Complete jobs in a timely fashion for on-time shipment.
• Lift materials and products manually or with hoists.
• Perform pre-operation equipment inspections and report issues.
• Set up, adjust, and operate basic machine tools.
• Read and interpret work instructions and execute accordingly.
• Other duties as assigned.
