Job summary

LB Foster is looking for a Production Worker to join the precast construction division in Idaho. You will contribute to manufacturing precast products, following standard work methods and safety practices, and you may work outdoors as needed.

Training will cover all areas of production as part of a team. Responsibilities include operating basic tools, inspecting equipment, reading instructions, and maintaining a clean, safe work area while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of work experience in a precast production environment.
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
• Ability to work in a high paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
• Ability to exert physical force as described (lift, move objects).
• Average proficiency in mathematics and good visual acuity.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safe work practices and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Carry out verbal and written instructions from Foreman.
• Manufacture precast concrete products in a timely fashion to ensure on time shipment.
• Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items.
• Complete pre-operation equipment inspections and report issues.
• Set up, adjust, and operate basic machine tools.
• Read and interpret work instructions and execute per instructions.
• Other duties as assigned.
