Job summary

Oldcastle is seeking a machine operator to support production of precast concrete products. You will read specifications, adjust machines, and monitor quality to ensure a superior finished product.

This role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work a flexible schedule. Experience with basic maintenance and Microsoft Office is a plus, with strict adherence to safety rules.

Qualifications

• Machine operator experience and mechanical skills required.
• HS diploma or equivalent; or related experience.
• Ability to read safety rules and manuals.
• Ability to work independently and be a self-starter.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
• Familiarity with measuring tools and basic math.

Responsibilities

• Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements
• Set stops or guides to specified lengths
• Observe machine operation to detect defects or malfunctions
• Review product for quality and consistency
• Perform routine machine maintenance
• Assist other operators and maintain housekeeping
