Job summary

LB Foster is seeking a Production Worker I for the precast construction division to join a night-shift team. You will produce precast products, follow standard work methods, and prioritize safety to ensure efficient, on-time output.

The role involves reading instructions, operating basic tools, lifting materials, and adhering to foreman guidance within a collaborative crew. Strong emphasis is placed on safety, teamwork, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 1 year of work experience in a production environment preferred.
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
• Ability to work in a high paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
• Focus on prioritization, time efficiency, problem solving and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safe work practices and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Carry out verbal and written instructions from Foreman.
• Complete jobs in a timely fashion to ensure on time shipment.
• Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items, manually or using hoists.
• Pre-operation equipment inspections and report any issues identified.
• Set up, adjust, and operate all basic machine tools.
• Read and interpret work instructions, then execute work per instructions.
• Other duties as assigned.
