Job summary

Brigham and Women's Hospital, Inc. is hiring a Patient Care Associate/Unit Coordinator for 24 hour night shifts on the postpartum unit. You will perform direct patient care under an RN and handle unit coordination tasks to support efficient patient flow.

Responsibilities include ADL assistance, vitals, phlebotomy support, test scheduling, discharge planning, and file management, while maintaining a high level of patient and family care, privacy, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Healthcare experience 1–2 years required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living and provide direct patient care under RN supervision.
• Support unit operations: coordinate tests, admissions, discharges, and documentation.
• Respond to patient and family needs, maintain confidentiality, and ensure timely communication.
