Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 0–1 year of related work experience.
• Prior customer service experience.
• Basic computer proficiency; navigate web-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate patient flow through the unit, coordinate admissions, and assist providers with supplies.
• Answer patient call lights promptly and respond within the scope of the role, adhering to BIDMC Call Light Standards.
• Use information systems to ensure timely response and accurate data input.
• Troubleshoot printer/copier/fax issues; ensure proper billing and equipment maintenance.
• Manage patient valuables program, investigate lost belongings, and report unresolved losses.
• Coordinate registration process and serve as point person for information system issues.
