• Performs patient care-related duties and clinical functions including vital signs, phlebotomy, and documenting in the EHR.
• Docs height, weight, intake/output, and blood glucose in the EHR.
• Maintains stocked, clean patient rooms and adapts to patient volumes.
• Follows admission and discharge procedures and communicates admissions.
• Interacts effectively with patients, visitors, and care team.
• Fosters a positive, collaborative team environment.
• Communicates with nursing staff promptly about patient care and condition.
• Provides leadership to the PCA team, including training, mentoring, and orientation.
• Assists Nursing Director with shift schedules and payroll as designated.
• Assigns tasks to team members to balance workload and resource use.
• Assists in complex unit-based procedures and supports quality programs.
