Job summary

The Brigham and Women's Hospital, Inc. in Boston seeks a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to support licensed staff with daily living activities and vital sign monitoring in a fast-paced hospital environment.

You will perform point-of-care tasks, document measurements in the EHR, assist with ambulation and safety, and help maintain clean, stocked patient rooms while collaborating with RNs and physicians on patient care plans. Night shift and onsite work at 75 Francis Street are required.

Qualifications

• Assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Record vitals, intake/output, and glucose in EHR.
• Stock and clean patient rooms.
• 1:1 patient observation for safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist RNs and physicians with exams and treatments as required.
• Communicate with nursing staff effectively and in a timely manner.
• Help with shift schedules and payroll as designated by leadership.
