Job summary

Mercyhealth Freeport Hospital is seeking a Registered Sleep Technician for night shifts to prepare patients for sleep studies, monitor during testing, and ensure accurate data collection. Qualifications

• Successful completion of a polysomnography program of no less than one-year duration.
• Current CPR certification and CPSGT/RPSGT/BRPT/RST/RRT-SDS certification as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and calibrate sleep testing equipment and verify proper functioning.
• Apply electrodes and sensors according to 10/20 system and standard procedures.
• Score polysomnographic data and generate accurate reports.
• Perform PAP mask fittings and HSAT procedures as required.
• Maintain points of data integrity and patient safety during testing.
