Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System, part of Trinity Health, is seeking a Polysomnographic Technologist – Registered for a full-time, 12-hour night shift. You will conduct polysomnography, perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and document findings per AASM standards.

Responsibilities include patient preparation, data scoring, safety adherence, and collaboration with the sleep team to maintain high-quality sleep center operations.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred in polysomnography.
• RPSGT certification required.
• Two years of experience in a sleep center preferred.
• Proficiency in polysomnographic techniques and EEG.

Responsibilities

• Provide polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic services following AASM standards.
• Prepare and calibrate testing equipment; document and score data accurately.
• Ensure patient safety and respond to emergencies during testing.
• Collaborate with the sleep team to maintain center operations and equipment.
