Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System in Columbus, OH is seeking a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist for full-time night shift. You will lead comprehensive sleep study evaluations, calibrate equipment, document sleep stages, and collaborate with the care team to ensure patient safety and quality data.

Responsibilities include performing polysomnography, highlighting respiratory, cardiac, and limb movement events, and supporting education and outreach to patients and families.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a full-service sleep center (preferred).
• BLS - Healthcare Provider ACLS preferred. Proficiency in polysomnographic and electroencephalography.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Practice: prepare and calibrate testing equipment, test patient, document baseline values, follow testing procedures, ensure quality data acquisition.
• Documentation: complete pre-testing, testing and post-procedure documentation, score sleep stages and events, ensure accuracy of reports.
• Performance Improvement/Data Management: assist in data collection and reporting, support regulatory compliance with ASMS/ AASM standards.
• Education and Outreach: coordinate patient/family education and promote program development.
