Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking a Polysomnographic Technician for night shifts in Illinois. The role covers education, testing, scoring, and patient care across pediatric to geriatric populations, with strict adherence to AASM and Center protocols.

Responsibilities include equipment calibration, electrode placement, PAP titration, and comprehensive documentation. Required is a polysomnography program of at least one year, CPR, and relevant credentialing (CPSGT/BRPT/RPSGT/ABSM/RRT-SDS).

Qualifications

• Completion of a polysomnography program of at least one year and credentialing requirements.
• Must have current CPR and CPSGT or BRPT/RPSGT/ABSM/RRT-SDS equivalence as described.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze patient information and prepare testing documentation.
• Calibrate equipment and apply electrodes/sensors per standard methods.
• Perform polysomnographic tests and related procedures with artifact-free data.
• Score recordings, generate reports, and assist with patient safety and interventions.
• Conduct clerical tasks and support department efficiency.
