Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking a Polysomnographic Technician to conduct sleep studies, prepare and calibrate equipment, and monitor patients through testing. You will apply sensors, follow AASM guidelines, and ensure high-quality data collection and reporting.

Responsibilities include scoring recordings, preparing accurate reports, and performing related clerical tasks. Certification and CPR are required, with opportunities for professional growth within Mercyhealth's sleep medicine program.

Qualifications

• Completion of a polysomnography program of no less than one-year duration.
• Certification by ABSM/BRPT/NBRC or equivalent preferred.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze patient information for sleep studies.
• Prepare and calibrate equipment and apply electrodes using 10/20 system.
• Perform polysomnographic testing and associated procedures per protocols.
• Score sleep-wake stages and generate reports with accuracy.
• Perform clerical duties and scheduling to support department operations.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
