Mercyhealth is seeking a Polysomnographic Technician in Illinois to perform patient education, comprehensive polysomnographic testing and analysis, and related interventions. Schedule comprises three 12-hour night shifts, with core duties guided by AASM and Center protocols to ensure high-quality data and patient safety.

Qualifikationen

• Successful completion of a polysomnography program of no less than one-year duration associated with a state licensed and/or a nationally accredited educational facility or equivalent experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Certification by CPSGT, RPSGT, ABSM, NBRC or equivalent required or eligible.

Aufgaben

• Gather and analyze patient information.
• Prepare and calibrate equipment required for testing to determine proper functioning and make adjustments.
• Apply electrodes and sensors according to 10/20 system.
• Perform polysomnographic and other testing procedures in accordance with AASM/Center protocols.
• Score sleep/wake stages and generate accurate reports.
• Perform clerical duties as needed to ensure department efficiency.
