Zusammenfassung

Dal-Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to join our TEAM on the B shift (nights). The role involves complex mechanical duties and electrical trade functions in a manufacturing setting.

You will troubleshoot PLCs, design and modify PLC programs, install and repair equipment, read blueprints, and monitor electrical energy use. Basic automation knowledge and PC skills are required.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent experience. Knowledge of electrical code. Formal PLC training preferred.
• Associate degree in industrial electronics preferred.
• 3 or more year’s industrial electro- mechanical maintenance experience.
• Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Office).

Aufgaben

• Trouble shoot PLC’s (Programmable Logic Controller) using hand held device or laptop.
• Design and redesign program and software (PLCs, operator panels, etc ).
• Install, maintain or repair equipment for the generation, distribution or utilization of electrical energy in a manufacturing environment.
• Locates and diagnosis trouble in electrical systems or equipment working from blue prints, drawings, layouts or other specifications.
• Basic knowledge of Serial port communication systems , VFD’s (Variable Frequency Drives) and process control instrumentation devices (thermocouples, pressure switches, etc ).
• Process improvement (Plan and submit process improvements and execute the plan).
