Job summary

Dal-Tile Distribution, Inc. is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to perform complex electrical and PLC work in a manufacturing setting.

You will install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, read blueprints, and implement process improvements while maintaining safe, efficient operations. The role requires several years of industrial maintenance experience, a strong knowledge of electrical code, and proficiency with PLCs and instrumentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; knowledge of electrical code.
• Associate degree in industrial electronics preferred.
• 4+ years industrial maintenance and 2+ years industrial electrical experience.
• Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Office).
• Formal PLC training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot PLCs using handheld device or laptop.
• Design and redesign PLC programs and software (PLCs, operator panels).
• Format hard drives and perform PC setup.
• Installs, maintains or repairs equipment for generation, distribution or utilization of electrical energy.
• Locate and diagnose trouble in electrical systems from blueprints or specifications.
• Lead projects and complete them safely and efficiently.
• Keep work area safe, clean and organized.
• Perform other related duties as required.
