Job summary

Dal‑Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, is the largest US tile and natural stone manufacturer. We seek an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to perform complex mechanical duties and electrical trade functions in a manufacturing setting.

The role focuses on PLCs, program design, equipment installation and repair, plus process improvements to boost productivity. You’ll need a high school diploma, 4+ years maintenance, and PLC training; basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; knowledge of electrical code.
• Associate degree in industrial electronics preferred.
• 4+ years industrial maintenance experience and 2 years industrial electrical experience; formal PLC training preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Office).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot PLCs using handheld device or laptop.
• Design and redesign PLC programs and operator panels.
• Format hard drives and install to computers (computer setup).
• Install, maintain or repair equipment for electrical energy in a manufacturing environment.
• Read blueprints and locate electrical faults.
• Lead projects and drive productivity improvements.
• Keep work area safe, clean and organized.
