Job summary

Dal-Tile, a division of Mohawk Industries, is seeking a Quartz Maintenance Technician C Shift. The role performs complex mechanical duties and electrical trade functions in a manufacturing environment.

The incumbent will troubleshoot PLCs, install and maintain PLCs, and participate in process improvements to ensure safe, efficient production. The ideal candidate has 4+ years in industrial maintenance, PLC training, and strong electrical knowledge, with basic computer skills and the ability to

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years industrial maintenance experience and 2 years industrial electrical experience.
• Formal PLC training preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Office).
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical procedures in English.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot PLCs using handheld device or laptop.
• Design and redesign programs and software (PLCs, operator panels).
• Format hard drives and install software on computers (PC setup).
• Install, maintain or repair equipment for generation, distribution or utilization of electrical energy.
• Locate and diagnose trouble in electrical systems from blueprints, drawings and layouts.
• Plan and execute process improvements to drive productivity and reduce costs.
• Lead projects to completion and return equipment to production safely and efficiently.
• Keep work area safe, clean and organized.
• Perform other related duties as required.
