Job summary

Dal-Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, seeks an experienced industrial maintenance technician to install, repair and maintain electrical systems and PLCs in a manufacturing setting. You will troubleshoot PLCs, program and redesign control panels, read blueprints, and lead improvement projects to keep production running safely and efficiently.

The role requires a high school diploma, an associate degree preferred, and several years of maintenance experience; we offer a competitive benefits

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate degree in industrial electronics preferred.
• 4 or more years industrial maintenance experience and 2 years industrial electrical experience. Formal PCL training preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Office).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) using hand held device or laptop.
• Design and redesign program and software (PLCs, operator panels, etc).
• Install, maintain or repair equipment for the generation, distribution or utilization of electrical energy in a manufacturing environment.
• Locates and diagnoses trouble in electrical systems or equipment using blue prints, drawings, layouts or other specifications.
• Leads projects and completes them successfully, returning equipment to production operating safely and efficiently.
• Keeps work area safe, clean and organized.
• Process improvement (Plan and submit process improvements and execute the plan).
