Job summary

Dal-Tile, part of Mohawk Industries, is seeking a Quartz - Maintenance Technician for the D shift (nights) to perform complex mechanical and electrical duties in a manufacturing setting. You will troubleshoot PLCs, read blueprints, and install/repair equipment, helping ensure safe, productive operation.

The role requires 4+ years of industrial maintenance and PLC experience, with strong electronics knowledge, and the ability to plan improvements and work with various testing tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience with knowledge of electrical code.
• 3+? 4 or more years industrial maintenance experience and 2 years industrial electrical experience.
• Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Office).
• Ability to read blueprints and troubleshoot electrical systems and PLCs.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot PLCs using handheld device or laptop.
• Design and redesign program and software for PLCs and operator panels.
• Install, maintain or repair equipment for electrical energy generation and distribution.
• Locate and diagnose trouble in electrical systems from blueprints or specs.
• Read and interpret procedures in English; test motors and circuits with voltmeter/ammeter.
• Lead projects and drive improvements to productivity and costs.
