Job summary
Hydro in Saint Augustine, FL, is seeking a maintenance PLC technician for 3rd shift 11:00PM - 7:00AM. You will program and troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems, integrate HMIs and sensors, and work with engineering on system upgrades.
Requires 3-5 years of experience in ladder logic, Allen-Bradley Logix/Studio 5000, and knowledge of Ethernet/IP; includes night shift differential and benefits.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience programming and troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment.
- Ability to modify, troubleshoot and validate PLC ladder logic for equipment improvements.
- Experience with Allen-Bradley Logix/Studio 5000 software.
Responsibilities
- Program and safety-configure PLC-controlled systems.
- Develop, modify and troubleshoot PLC logic (ladder and function block).
- Install, program and troubleshoot PLC systems in industrial environments.
- Troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems and related components.
- Integrate PLCs with HMIs, sensors, and actuators.
- Collaborate with engineering on system upgrades and improvements.
- Train junior technicians and provide technical support.
- Utilize predictive measures to improve equipment reliability (CRI).
- Support continuous reliability improvement standards and practices.
- Assist with mechanical tasks ~30% as needed.
