Job summary

Eco Material Technologies, a CRH Company, seeks a Supervisor to lead daily plant operations in the U.S., focusing on safety, quality, waste reduction, productivity and equipment uptime. The role supports the Superintendent and coordinates reporting, maintenance scheduling, and process improvements to meet performance targets.

The position requires the ability to manage people, coordinate maintenance, and ensure compliance with testing protocols and safety standards while communicating

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in a relevant field.
• Driver's license required.
• Must be able to recognize hazards and safety measures to be implemented.
• Ability to plan and direct the work of others.
• Ability to perform, analyze and interpret laboratory tests for the purpose of making operational adjustments.
• Ability to deal effectively with people at all levels.
• Knowledge of processes involved in the operation of the FGD Dewatering Operation.
• Problem solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent written, verbal and listening skills.
• Excellent planning, organizing, prioritizing, and time management skills.
• Must have working knowledge of spreadsheets, databases, word processing and other related software.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent in managing operation detail and oversee the facility in the Superintendent's absence.
• Lead safety program and model safe work practices.
• Assist in managing daily plant operational issues and keep the Superintendent informed.
• Identify issues and ensure effective resolution and needs.
• Coordinate maintenance scheduling with internal and external resources to minimize downtime.
• Provide personnel and resources to maintenance technicians as needed.
• Ensure sampling, testing protocols and reporting are properly handled.
• Maintain positive customer relations and adherence to contract.
• Oversee contracted workers on plant components.
• Maintain attendance, timeliness and scheduling flexibility.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
