Job summary

TIC_Craft in Greenville, MS is seeking an entry-level helper to support skilled craftsmen in piping fabrication and installation. You will learn to read isometric drawings, measure, fabricate, and assist with welding, assembly and supports on a busy construction site.

This role requires ability to stand and move on site, handle tools, and follow safety procedures. No prior advanced experience is required, training provided.

Qualifications

• May require a high school diploma or its equivalent with prior field exposure.
• Ability to understand, follow and convey written and oral instructions.
• Field experience in the chosen craft discipline.
• Knowledge of safe and efficient use of hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Read isometric drawings, take measurements, fabricate and install piping.
• Assist craftsman to align, bolt and clamp components for welding.
• Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings and related equipment per specs.
• Position and secure materials and workpieces per plans and specs.
• Layout and install equipment, vessels, skids, pumps, pipe, and supports.
• Assist with hydro testing piping systems.
