Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company in the United States (Greenville, MS) seeks a skilled pipefitter to plan, lay-out, install, test and repair piping systems per plans and industry standards. You will read isometric drawings and fabricate, weld, and install joints with accuracy on site.

Responsibilities include assembly, alignment, hydro testing, and ensuring work complies with contract plans, while remaining mindful of safety and site conditions throughout the project.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; field experience preferred.
• Ability to read isometric drawings and fabricate piping to spec.
• Strong safety awareness and effective communication with crew.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lay-out, install, test and repair piping systems per plans and codes.
• Read drawings, measure, fabricate, and install piping efficiently.
• Assemble, weld, thread joints, align components for welding.
• Operate bevelers, grinders, pipe threaders, torches and drills.
• Hydro test piping systems and inspect work for contract compliance.
