Qualifications

• Field experience in chosen craft discipline.
• Knowledge of safe and efficient use of hand tools, power tools and layout tools.

Responsibilities

• Learn to select type and size of pipe, tube and related material according to job specification.
• Assist with installation, repair, maintainance, and adjust instruments and test equipment.
• Assist craftspeople to measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install piping and tubing.
• Move materials and equipment to work locations and set up sites.
• May assist disassembling instruments or test equipment and examine mechanisms for defects.
