Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company is seeking a skilled pipefitter to plan, lay out, install, test and repair piping systems in accordance with plans, specs and industry standards. Responsibilities include reading isometrics, fabricating and installing piping, aligning and welding components, and ensuring work conforms to contract documents.

The role demands mobility on construction sites, ability to work overtime and exposure to outdoor conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong working knowledge for the position.
• Ability to understand and transmit written and oral instructions; communicate effectively with supervision.
• Proficient in safe use of electrical, hand and power tools and layout tools.

Responsibilities

• Read isometrics, take measurements, fabricate and install piping efficiently.
• Align, bolt and clamp components for welding.
• Weld and thread joints to assemble pipes and fittings.
• Install equipment, vessels, skids, pumps, pipe and supports.
• Inspect and ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
