Job summary

Tom Trese Networking LLC is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract role in Fairhope, AL. The position runs on 3rd shift, Monday–Friday with rotating weekends, 8:30pm–7am, 10-hour shifts. Expected duration is 3 months with potential for permanent placement.

The ideal candidate will perform venipuncture, label and process specimens, and maintain accurate records while following safety and compliance guidelines. Benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification as required by the state of employment.
• Minimum 6 months venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens per protocol.
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data.
• Ensure proper specimen handling, labeling, and transport per procedures.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients and maintain sample integrity.
• Adhere to OSHA/DEP regulations and attend annual trainings.
