WVU Health System is seeking an Operations Pharmacy Technician I for WVUH West Virginia University Hospitals in Morgantown, WV. The role assists with distribution tasks under pharmacist supervision, following written procedures to support safe medication handling and patient care.

Responsibilities include unit-dose preparation, dispensing support, inventory management, and communications with care teams to coordinate delivery and medication access for patients across hospital settings.

Competenze

• Six months of pharmacy technician experience or equivalent.
• Must possess current licensure as required by the state where services will be provided.
• Pharmacy technician license or trainee license per state board requirements.

Mansioni

• Prepare unit-dose medications, deliver medications, and manage drug supplies.
• Read physician orders and prepare medications for dispensing, including pediatric and geriatric forms.
• Maintain accurate records for controlled substances and inventory; ensure proper labeling and storage.
