Job summary

Telecare Corporation is hiring a Peer Recovery Coach I at the Riverside Desert Mental Health Urgent Care in Palm Springs, CA. You will engage with members, support recovery goals, and reinforce the Recovery Culture while de‑escalating crises.

The position requires a high school diploma, state peer certifications, and experience with behavioral health. Fridays 11 PM–7:30 AM, 0.2 FTE, benefits apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist Certification through CalMHSA prior to hire.
• CA required; THW Certification (Oregon) prior to hire date.
• CPC certification through HCA or DOH as applicable within 60 days (WA).
• PRSS certification through AHCCCS prior to hire date.

Responsibilities

• Engage with members to explore and meet recovery goals.
• Provide consultation to the team to reinforce Telecare's RCCS Recovery Culture.
• Respond to critical situations with de-escalation to maintain a least restrictive environment.
