Job summary

Telecare Corporation in Perris, CA is seeking a dedicated Peer Recovery Coach I to engage, support, and guide members on their recovery journeys within a recovery‑oriented program. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to promote Telecare’s RCCS and person‑centered planning.

The role emphasizes crisis de‑escalation, peer leadership, and direct engagement with adults experiencing behavioral health challenges. Night shifts (11:00 PM–7:00 AM) on Fridays and Saturdays are available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• California Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist Certification within 120 days.
• One year or part-time equivalent experience supporting behavioral health challenges.
• Experience as a beneficiary of the public Behavioral Health system of care.
• Successful completion of Peer Support Training or Peer Employment Training.

Responsibilities

• Engage, inspire, and facilitate conversations to help members meet recovery goals.
• Provide consultation to the team to promote Telecare’s RCCS and recovery culture.
• Respond to emergencies with de‑escalation skills to support a least restrictive setting.
