Job summary

Telecare Corporation is seeking a Peer Recovery Coach I to engage and motivate members toward their recovery goals. You will provide supportive conversations, promote Telecare’s Recovery Culture, and help integrate person-centered preferences into services and self-help programs.

The role includes responding to crises with de‑escalation skills, and working to maintain a least-restrictive environment. Full-time positions shift Sunday to Thursday 11:00am–7:30pm or Friday/Saturday 11:00am–7:30pm,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist Certification is required.
• One year or part‑time equivalent of experience supporting members with behavioral health challenges.
• Experience as a beneficiary of the public Behavioral Health system of care.
• Valid and current driver's license with personal vehicle insurance in your name.
• Willingness to use the company vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups.

Responsibilities

• Engages, inspires, and facilitates conversations to help members explore and meet recovery goals.
• Promotes Telecare's Recovery Culture via RCCS and integrates member perspectives into services and self-help programming.
• Responds to critical situations with high-level engagement and de‑escalation to support a least-restrictive environment.
