Telecare Corporation is seeking a Peer Recovery Coach I in Perris, CA to engage with members, facilitate recovery planning, and support a Recovery Culture within a 24/7 mental health setting. The role emphasizes trauma-informed care and collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team to promote recovery and stability.

Responsibilities include providing peer support, participating in crisis de‑escalation, and advocating for least restrictive interventions.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Peer Certification must be obtained prior to hire and maintained throughout employment; California: Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist Certification through CalMHSA must be obtained within 120 days of your date of hire and maintained throughout employment.
• One year or part‑time equivalent of experience supporting members served with behavioral health challenges.
• Experience as a beneficiary of the public Behavioral Health system of care.
• Successful completion of Peer Support Training or Peer Employment Training.

• Engages, inspires, and facilitates meaningful conversations with members to explore and meet recovery goals.
• Provide consultation to the team to promote and reinforce Telecare’s Recovery Culture as defined by RCCS.
• Respond to critical situations with high-level engagement and de-escalation to support a least restrictive environment during emergencies.
