Job summary

Telecare Corporation seeks a Peer Recovery Coach I in Indio, CA to engage, inspire, and support members toward their recovery goals. You will reinforce Telecare's RCCS recovery culture and respond to crises with de-escalation skills in a least-restrictive environment.

The role requires a high school diploma, peer certification, and state-specific certifications; you must have driving privileges. Telecare offers PTO, holidays, CEUs, tuition discounts, health plans, and a 401(k)/ESOP plan.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Peer Certification must be obtained before hire and kept current.
• State-specific peer certifications must be obtained before start date and maintained.
• Minimum one year of experience supporting members with behavioral health challenges.

Responsibilities

• Engage, inspire, and facilitate conversations to help members meet recovery goals.
• Provide consultation to the team to support recovery culture and RCCS.
• Respond to critical situations with de-escalation skills in a least restrictive environment.
