Akron Children's Hospital is seeking a Part Time Staff Nurse for a night shift (7:00 pm–7:30 am) on-site in Akron, OH. The role delivers care grounded in biomedical, physical, behavioral, social and nursing sciences with a family-centered approach.

Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care, leadership, education, quality improvement, and collaboration to provide excellent pediatric customer service.

Qualifications

• BSN required or to be obtained within 5 years of hire.
• Current RN license in Ohio is required.
• BLS certification required; other dept certs may be needed.
• Experience leading or mentoring staff desired.
• Strong communication skills—verbal and written.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Experience with electronic medical record systems (EPIC preferred).
