Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health seeks a Registered Nurse in the Children’s Oncology Department at Bristol Myers Squibb Children’s Hospital, New Brunswick campus. The role requires a BSN and pediatric RN experience, with night shifts and a 36-hour week.

You will provide nursing care within the Nurse Practice Act with a focus on safety and collaboration, maintain licensure (NJ RN, BLS/ACLS, PALS), and participate in chemo certification (APHON) as applicable.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• 1 year of Pediatric RN experience.
• Proficient computer skills.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• Active New Jersey RN License.
• PALS required.
• APHON Chemotherapy certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards.
• Report safety issues and maintain knowledge of patient populations.
• Supervise and direct delegation of tasks to team members.
