Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Children's Oncology Department at the Bristol Myers Squibb Children’s Hospital, New Brunswick campus. This night-shift role covers 36 hours per week and focuses on high-quality pediatric oncology nursing care.

Required: BSN, NJ RN license, BLS and ACLS; 1 year of Pediatric RN experience. PALS and APHON chemotherapy certification are preferred; strong communication and computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

Required BSN; 1 year of Pediatric RN experience
Active New Jersey RN License (BSN)
BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred; APHON chemotherapy certification optional

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care within the Nurse Practice Act and ANA ethics guidelines
Report safety issues and medical errors promptly
Supervise and direct delegation of tasks to team members
Collaborate with other care providers to ensure quality patient care
Set and evaluate priorities with measurable outcomes and evidence-based practice
