RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Children's Oncology Department at the Bristol Myers Squibb Children’s Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. The role is night shift, 36 hours per week, with an hourly pay range reflective of NJ market.

The RN will provide care within the pediatric oncology population, maintain high standards of safety and ethics, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• 1 year of Pediatric RN experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License.
• PALS required.
• APHON Chemotherapy certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards.
• Ensure patient safety and apply evidence-based practice.
• Report safety issues and medical errors.
• Maintain knowledge of the patient population served.
• Supervise and direct task delegation within the care team.
• Set and evaluate priorities with measurable outcomes.
• Coordinate care as part of the interdisciplinary team.
