Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool RN with NICU Level III and PICU experience for a night-shift assignment in New Jersey. Active NJ or Compact RN license, BLS/NRP/PALS, and NICU/PICU background are required.

Epic charting experience and neonatal care skills are essential. The role involves floating between NICU, PICU, Peds, and Newborn Nursery in a 56-bed Level III NICU within a teaching hospital system.

Qualifications

• Active NJ or Compact RN license required.
• Minimum 1.5 years of experience in NICU/PICU settings.

Responsibilities

• Float pool based in NICU, with float to PICU, Peds, and Newborn Nursery.
• Night shift 7:00pm-8:00am (3x12 hours).
• Total 37.5 hours per week; every other weekend.
• Care for neonates as young as 24-28 weeks gestation.
• Use Epic for charting; work in a 56-bed Level III NICU (Regional Perinatal Center).
• Must work or cover 1 of 2 or 2 of 3 winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year).
• Scrub: navy pants with pediatric top.
• First-time travelers welcome; local candidates accepted.
• Former RWJBarnabas Health employees must be separated at least 1 year to return as traveler.
