Job summary

Nationwide Children’s Hospital is seeking a Nurse Aide (CNA) for the night shift 7PM-7AM with weekend criteria and potential .6 to .9 FTE. The CNA will collect vital signs, assist with procedures, and maintain strict patient confidentiality in a pediatric setting.

Required: Ohio CNA certification, BLS/CPR, and completion of an approved nursing fundamentals program. At least one year of relevant patient care experience is preferred; Includes opportunities to train other staff and participate in

Qualifications

• Completion of fundamentals course from an approved nursing program, or equivalent certification or experience.
• Active CNA (Ohio) certification, or equivalent education/experience.
• Current CPR certification (BLS for healthcare provider) required.

Responsibilities

• Collects, documents, and reports vital signs.
• Promotes patient safety and assists with procedures.
• Maintains confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Supports with clerical and administrative tasks as needed.
• May act as a preceptor and train other staff.
