Job summary

Nationwide Children's Hospital Inc is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide for night shift coverage (0.9 FTE, 36 hours/week), including six weekend shifts every six weeks. The base pay starts at $19.10 per hour plus a $2.30 night differential.

Under supervision of an RN or Care Manager, you will collect vital signs, document data, support procedures, and help maintain patient safety and confidentiality. Required: fundamentals course and active Ohio CNA certification, plus CPR.

Qualifications

• Completion of fundamentals course from an approved nursing program, or equivalent certification or experience.
• Active CNA certification in Ohio or equivalent education/experience.
• Current CPR certification (BLS for healthcare provider).
• One year of patient care experience in a hospital setting within the last three years.

Responsibilities

• Collect, document, and report vital signs; may perform minor screenings as assigned.
• Promote patient safety; assist with procedures and position patients.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality of patient information.
• Ensure unit areas are stocked, cleaned, and maintained.
• Perform clerical tasks as needed; may serve as a preceptor for training.
