Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, OH is seeking a Care Assistant (CNA) to provide basic supportive care under RN supervision. Responsibilities include data collection, vital signs, and patient safety across pediatric and select adult patients.

Typical shifts are 7:00 pm–7:30 am with every other weekend; successful candidates will have an Ohio CNA or equivalent, CPR certification, and at least one year of hospital patient care experience. HIPAA compliance is required.

Formación

• Competence in providing pediatric and selected adult patient care.
• Ability to interact effectively with patients, families, staff and vendors.

Responsabilidades

• Collect, document, and report vital signs and basic data.
• Promote patient safety and assist with procedures and positioning.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.
• Ensure unit and patient areas are stocked, clean, and organized.
• Perform clerical/administrative tasks as needed.
• Complete continuing education and participate in trainings; may precept.
