Cayuga Medical Center in Ithaca, NY is seeking a dedicated Patient Service Representative to support front-desk operations on the night shift (Three 12-hour shifts per week, 7pm–7am).

You will greet patients, verify demographics, collect co-pays and balances, and assist with scheduling labs, x-rays, procedures, or testing, sending orders as needed. Proficiency with Medent EMR and Microsoft Office is required; a high school diploma or equivalent is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous medical office experience preferred.
• EMR experience with Medent and proficiency in Microsoft Office are utilized.

Responsabilités

• Check in patients upon arrival.
• Verify and update patient demographics.
• Collect outstanding balances and co-pays.
• Assist with scheduling labs, x-rays, procedures, or testing; send orders.
• Take messages and triage phone calls.
