Job summary

OhioHealth Grove City is seeking a Service Excellence Ambassador to deliver exceptional customer service to patients, families, visitors and physicians during the night shift. You will guide people, answer questions and help with locations and transfers.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in communications, public relations or health-related field.
Minimum two years of consumer advocacy or service experience.
Knowledge of conflict resolution, interpersonal communication and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

Provide information to visitors/patients while maintaining confidentiality and escort as needed.
Communicate between patient, family and hospital staff to ease coordination.
Act as advocate by investigating and expediting admission and delays.
Resolve problems and escalate when necessary to ensure needs are met.
Greet and assist visitors, direct them, and help with wheelchairs when necessary.
Answer multi-line phone calls and transfer to appropriate rooms.
Oversee lobby information desks and maintain cleanliness and order.
