Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and experience in a consumer advocacy or service role.
• Strong conflict resolution and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience in healthcare or customer service is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, visitors, and OhioHealth physicians and associates while maintaining confidentiality.
• Facilitate clear communication between patient, family and hospital staff.
• Advocate for patients by expediting admission and addressing delays.
• Resolve problems and escalate issues when necessary.
• Respond to special needs and ensure those needs are met.
• Greet, give directions, escort visitors, and assist with wheelchairs.
• Answer multi-line phone calls and route to appropriate locations.
• Oversee information desks and lobby areas for orderliness.
