Job summary

Endeavor Health in Evanston is seeking a Patient Care Tech to support nursing staff on the patient care unit. You will assist with vital signs, patient movement, and daily tasks to ensure smooth operations and patient comfort.

The role requires CNA training or nursing rotations, current BLS certification, and at least 1 year of customer service or nursing assistant experience. Evening shifts with rotating weekends are available, with full-time hours and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

Eligible to work in the U.S. with CNA training or completion of medical/surgical nursing rotations.
BLS certification for Healthcare Provider is required.
1 year of customer service experience preferred or prior nursing assistant experience.

Responsibilities

Work under the supervision of a RN to deliver patient care.
Assist with vital signs, EKGs, bladder ultrasound, Foley removal, IV adapter removal, specimen collection, bathing, turning, hourly rounding, glucose, feeding, and admitting patients.
Assist with implementing patient-specific care plans.
Participate in activities essential to the functioning of the patient care unit.
Contribute to safety outcomes and high-quality patient experience.
