Job summary

Great River Health in Fort Madison, IA seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide basic patient care under a licensed nurse. You will work the 6:00pm–6:30am shift with every third weekend rotation, handling ADLs, skin care, vital signs, and patient transport while adhering to infection control practices.

Responsibilities include bedside shift reports, accurate record-keeping, and assisting in wound prevention.

Qualifications

• C.N.A. course completion required or in progress within four months of hire.
• Emergency First Response within 90 days of hire.
• Computer experience required.

Responsibilities

• Answer call lights promptly and assist as directed.
• Perform ADLs and skin assessments; monitor vitals.
• Maintain clean patient rooms and transport specimens.
• Document activities in the medical record accurately and timely.
