Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CNA, CMA, EMT, or nursing student with one semester of clinical completed.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Graduate of accredited Nursing Assistant program or Phlebotomy course preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic nursing care activities as delegated and supervised by an RN.
• Assists patients with personal care and activities of daily living.
• Reports abnormal findings to nursing staff.
• Keeps patient rooms clean and orderly.
• Manages unit workflow with the charge RN and/or assistant manager as needed.
• Coordinates communication between patient care units and other departments.
• Answers calls and intercom with appropriate etiquette.
